Hill+Knowlton Strategies (SEA) Pte Ltd – Public Relations Internship

We are looking for Interns to embark on a 6-month journey to gain hands-on experience and first-hand insights into the Public Relations field. All interns will be immersed in H+K’s internship programme and serve in a supporting role undertaking day-to-day account management duties including business development, media relations, pitching, media monitoring, research, and managing media conferences, events, and seminars.

What you will be doing during your internship:

• You will learn the fundamentals skills of what a PR practitioner does in a day-to-day management setting.
• You will get to familiarize yourself with the client’s business and the related industries, client contacts, client procedures, and processes.
• You will be assisting in the preparation of reports following client meetings and the timely submission of such reports to clients.
• You possess excellent writing skills and will be working with the PR teams to draft written materials for our clients.
• You will assist in media monitoring of relevant dailies/ publications/ broadcasts for clients and media liaisons.
• You are excited to bring to the table creative inputs towards clients’ PR programmes and proposals during internal discussions, as well as to new business pitches, particularly in research and intelligence gathering.

What you need to be successful:

• You ideally have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related
• Previous PR internship or relevant leadership role at college/university would be advantageous
• You possess strong writing, social media, and research skills
• You have a passion for public relations, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people in a fast-paced environment.
• You are a highly motivated and driven self-starter.
• You have an interest or desire to work with corporate technology B2B clients but are also open to other practices or industries.
• You are authorized to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
• You should be able to commit a minimum of 6 months and either be available immediately or within a short notice.
