Job Description
What we offer:
1) High complexity in spend for Epoxy Resin basket in APAC and IMEA, which needs in depth review and identify ways to simplify the spend
2) Spend routed through distributors owing to the size and complexity
3) Support defining new sourcing approach basis functional or common grade materials
4) Conduct market analysis for APAC & IMEA to identify the potential epoxy resins manufacturers, along with feedstock
5) Review the epoxy resin basket spend to identify opportunities to reduce complexities (IDH grouping, approval mapping within different plant/countries, etc.), defining approach for segregation of basket basis functional & common epoxies grades.
6) Identify the opportunity to switch to direct business and consolidation supplier footprint
7) Market analysis results
8) Propose segregation of basket (functional/common) which will help to define sourcing strategy.
9) Recommendations on IDH grouping and create approval matrix for major grades / plants
10) Proposal on consolidation and direct business opportunity with potential saving
Job Specification
Who we are looking for:
1) Must have Chemistry majors (Both bachelors and master’s degree is acceptable)
2) Should possess work authorization for Singapore.
3) Experience in Chemical industry would be a plus.
