Helpling Singapore – Venture Development Intern

Responsibilities

As our Venture Development Intern (m/f), you tackle the challenges of scaling up our business and strategically planning its expansion. You gain an inside perspective on internet ventures and build up deep functional expertise. You will be placed in a team of very motivated and talented A-players who are driving our business forward. Our Venture Development internship is a unique opportunity to learn, experience and join a first-class team.
At Helpling, no two days are the same. The following tasks will be part of your new role:

1. You work on scaling up the Helpling business in Singapore and Australia
2. You research new market opportunities and act as a consultant to the management
3. You negotiate with business partners for potential business deals
4. You take ownership of key projects to explore opportunities and add value to the business

The Ideal Candidate

• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and have at least 1 year of working experience (preferably in management consulting, investment banking or venture development)
• You are ambitious and keen on working in a high-performance environment
• You have an analytical and structured way of working as well as logical thinking skills and an independent mind 
• You have a proven track record of getting things done. You have a hands-on mentality and can prioritize your tasks effectively and efficiently
• You are comfortable with data analysis
• You possess basic familiarity of finance operations
• You are a highly energetic, self-motivated and results-driven person who takes full ownership of your responsibilities
