Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Business Development Intern to join our Singapore team.You will play a hands-on role in driving growth across multiple business categories - exploring new acquisition channels, revenue streams, and supporting field operations. This internship offers a unique mix of strategy with business development, marketing, and operational exposure, with opportunities to contribute directly to Helpling’s growth strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Support market growth in the Cleaning vertical by identifying and activating potential micro-markets.
  • Assist in executing on-ground business development activities.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to test acquisition and activation ideas.
  • Help design and run small-scale experiments across new and unconventional acquisition channels.
  • Support day-to-day operations where needed, ensuring smooth coordination between business development and operations teams.
  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging market trends, customer behaviour, and channel performance.
  • Track and report results of activation or partnership experiments, recommending improvements for scaling.

Who You Are

  • A self-starter who enjoys being on the ground - speaking to people, building partnerships, and making things happen.
  • Curious, resourceful, and not afraid to test new ideas or channels to drive growth.
  • Detail-oriented and data-minded - you like to see what works and why.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably a current undergraduate or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
