We are looking for committed and passionate freelance translators to join the team!

Scope:

Translate and summarise news articles and headlines into English written summary in a specific format.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in freelance translation work
• Attention to detail and some basic understanding of technical keyword terms and interpretation (briefing will be provided)
• Good command of vernacular Chinese/ Malay/ English required to perform the translation.
• Able to work at allocated slot timing based on newspaper publish timings
• Able to commit long-term will be preferred

The assignment is usually 2 to 3 hours (starting from 6:30am) per assigned slot. Freelancers can work from home using their own laptop devices.
