Helen O'Grady Asia is the Master Franchisor of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy worldwide. Established in 1979, the Drama Academy is the world's largest children's drama developmental program. With the proprietary curriculum constantly updated to keep it current, and drama pedagogy for children from ages 3 up to 18, more than 10,000 Principals and teachers are now drama and theatre practitioners in their own rights.
Helen O'Grady Asia is the best training ground for new drama practitioners with drama pedagogy from pre-school to primary, enabling you to diversify from teaching, curriculum planning, script writing and even support of foreign language teachers. With our licensees in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China, you will have opportunities to grow into full-time position as drama support for overseas teams.
Key Responsibilities / Job Description
- Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons for all levels of classes, from preschool to primary, demonstrating a variety of teaching techniques according to curriculum guidelines
- Complete periodic students' progress reports
- Support the team during performances and showcases
What We’re Looking For / Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Drama, Theatre, Early Childhood, or relevant disciplines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to commute throughout the island to teach in schools
- Self-driven individual, creative thinker, team player
- Ability to nurture and inspire students
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
- MOE-registered is a plus
