Job Description

The Role 

As a Growth Strategy Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Business Development team to strengthen Hegg's local sales efforts. This position reports directly to the CEO and involves executing sales and business development initiatives, including generating client and sales leads, supporting the implementation of sales strategies, and fostering ecosystem development for Hegg.

What You’ll Do 

Assist the Business Development team in enhancing Hegg's local sales efforts Collaborate with the team to generate client and sales leads 

Contribute to the execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth Aid in ecosystem building activities to foster partnerships and collaborations 

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and trends 

Support the development of sales materials, presentations, and proposals Assist in managing customer relationships and addressing their inquiries or concerns 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination and execution of sales initiatives 

Stay updated on industry developments and competitors to provide insights and recommendations 

Provide ad-hoc support to the Business Development team

Who You Are 

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Fresh university/polytechnic graduates are also welcome!) 

Strong interest in sales, business development, and the plant-based industry 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities 

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team 

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment 

Prior experience or knowledge in sales, marketing, or business development is a plus 

Able to commit on a full-time basis (6 months preferred)
