Heartstown Productions – Content & Video Production Intern

We're a creative social media agency who's looking for someone who:

• Has a strong interest in video production, social media and digital content
• Is confident with filming and video editing and can independently produce engaging short-form content
• Is proficient in at least one editing software such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Has a good eye for composition, pacing, storytelling and visual details
• Understands what makes content engaging and watchable on social media
• Is creative, proactive and willing to pitch ideas, rather than simply waiting for instructions
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment and juggling multiple projects
• Has good communication skills and is comfortable working with clients and the team
• Portfolio / showreel is required — e.g. school projects, personal projects, freelance work or content created for your own social media

• Film short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms
• Edit engaging short-form videos from start to finish — including cutting, pacing, subtitles, sound design, transitions and basic colour grading
• Assist with on-location shoots, including camera setup, framing, lighting, audio and
• directing/working with talent where required
• Assist with copywriting for social media captions, hooks, scripts
• Support graphic design and visual content creation for social media,
• presentations and marketing materials when required
• Assist with social media strategy, including content pillars, competitor research, content planning and performance analysis
• Organise and manage video footage, project files and content assets
• Take ownership of assigned projects from ideation → filming → editing → final delivery
• Support other creative and production tasks as needed
