Job Description

In the role of Interior Design Intern, you will be immersed in the realm of interior design, contributing your creativity and gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Guided by our seasoned team, you will play a pivotal role in different phases of the design process, from initial concept ideation to the seamless completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

Conceptualization: Generate innovative ideas and actively participate in shaping the conceptualization of interior design projects.

Spatial Planning: Collaborate on spatial planning solutions, ensuring optimal functionality and a harmonious flow within interior spaces.

Material Selection: Participate in the selection of materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories, aligning choices with project requirements and design vision.

CAD Expertise: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software proficiently to create detailed floor plans, elevations, and comprehensive design documentation.

3D Modeling and Rendering: Develop 3D models using Sketchup and renderings to vividly communicate design concepts to clients and team members.

Vendor Collaboration: Engage with vendors and suppliers to source and specify furniture, fixtures, and other design elements.

Presentation Mastery: Craft and present design proposals effectively, conveying concepts and ideas with clarity and enthusiasm.

Site Immersion: Actively participate in site visits to gain practical insights into construction and installation processes.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited interior design program.

Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong communication skills, both visual and verbal.

Fundamental understanding of interior design principles and a keen awareness of industry trends.

Eagerness to learn and a genuine passion for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing interiors.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
