What we're looking for
We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join us for the upcoming launch of our app. We offer a unique opportunity to help us further amplify the social media presence of Healthzilla across a combination of social and digital channels.
No previous experience is required, we just ask that you have a passion for fitness&health, an enthusiasm for social media and all things digital and the ability to think outside the box and work independently.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for digital experience and an opportunity to be part of an app launch.
Responsibilities
We'll need you to update all of our social media channels, while engaging and responding to our online communities. Furthermore, you’ll help us develop impactful marketing campaigns across all social media platforms.
- Extend Healthzilla’s social media reach and capture the target audience via targeted social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Healthzilla blog etc.)
- Identify, monitor, learn and experiment with new and alternative social media strategies
- Research, write, create and develop insightful, quality content for all marketing campaigns and social platforms
- Research & recommend partnership opportunities with relevant companies, groups or individuals
- Monitor, engage and interact on various social media platforms, replying to comments, messages, inquiries, compliments and complaints in brand voice
- Work on Healthzilla’s marketing strategy and bring fresh, out-of-the-box ideas to the table
Requirements
What we're looking for:
- Social media enthusiast with good understanding of digital marketing best practices and social media tools
- Genuine interest in Fitness and Health
- Experience with CMS systems
- Ability to identify influencers and comfortable with outreach to increase Missionready’s marketing efforts
- Experience with design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) and proficient in Microsoft Office
NOTE: Looking for students with a mandatory internship period (3 to 6 months full time). Part-timers are also welcome but we'd negotiate the compensation separately depending on hours.
