Healthzilla is a company passionate about health, A.I. and human optimization. Our aim is to optimize the health of our customer (physical exercise, recovery, nutrition and sleep) through the use of their personal real-time health data and highly personalized health&fitness advice.
Healthzilla is a result of our personal goal of finding fully personalized, objective, data-driven health and fitness advice and analysis. It's an app that takes minimal inputs from a user, and is able to completely guide them step-by-step (like a personal trainer would do) to improve their health and fitness.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic developer intern to join us on a full-time or part-time basis. Here’s what’s in store:
- Learn ins & outs of our iOS app built on Swift for iPhone and Apple Watch
- Support team in testing, preparation and execution of the launch of our upcoming release
- Ongoing maintenance and upgrades of the app, working closely with the CEO
- Development of new features
- Creative thinking and ideation for future versions, incl. motion tracking and artificial intelligence

Requirements

- Genuine personal interest in health & fitness
- Able to pick up new skills quickly and is comfortable in an unstructured environment
- Strong understanding of iOS app development process from development to testing to launch and maintenance of apps
- Experience in Swift for iPhone development is compulsory
Additionally,
- Experience in Apple Watch development will be preferential
- Experience with Heroku and Firebase frameworks will be preferential
- Knowledge of design tools like Photoshop/Sketch will be a plus
- Knowledge of Android app development will be a plus
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks will be a plus
