Job Description

The Role

An exciting opportunity to be part of the commercial team to market an iconic Singapore heritage brand, Tiger Balm, to Taiwan, Korea and Japan for a period of 4 to 6 months, starting in April 2024.

The incumbent will be exposed to commercial, distributor management and marketing aspects for these markets.

Responsibilities

  • This is a full commercial role with focus on marketing, sales and distribution of our Healthcare product range in the mentioned markets.
  • Maximize profitability of our business by executing effective marketing and strategic plans for our flagship brand in each market.
  • Manage our distributors and internal stakeholders for smooth execution of daily marketing and business operations.
  • Manage sales and marketing plans with distributor partners to develop and grow our business.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are respected in all consumer touch points from distribution, communication, merchandising & marketing executions including the review and approval of marketing content proposed by distributors.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders for smooth implementation of website content.
  • Oversee and ensure distributor compliance to the allocated A&P budgets.
  • Oversee distributors’ monthly purchases to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Ensure timely delivery of monthly management reporting and ad hoc reporting via close collaboration with the distributors.
  • Work with advertising agencies and third-party suppliers for each market through close collaboration with distributor partners.
  • Work with the third-party agencies to build consumer franchise for our products.
  • Partnering internal stakeholders in Business Development, Legal, Manufacturing and Regulatory departments to gain market access, launch new products, manage inventories and orders fulfilment.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education, with some experience in marketing and sales in consumer healthcare, OTC or FMCG
  • Independent self-starter, have a growth mindset, and willing to put in the hard work.
  • Resourceful, able to think creatively and possess a strong bias for action.
  • Able to work through ambiguity and paradoxes with internal and external stakeholders to ensure tactical execution is aligned with our strategic priorities.
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written); analytical mind; conversant with numbers; and proficient with MS office especially excel.
