Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Country Manager & Marketing Associate, the Customer Happiness Intern will join our Operations & Marketing team and play a crucial role in driving business results through effective customer support and driving a wide range of new initiatives to enhance customer experiences – from physical packaging to service framework to online UX. The perfect candidate would have the ability to think strategically, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Manage customers’ inquiries across all channels (website’s live chat, Instagram, Facebook, emails) with urgency, love and empathy
– Anticipate customers’ needs, go above and beyond to resolve issues and deliver delightful experiences consistently and at scale
– Dig deep to understand customer’s real pain points and root causes, propose & prioritise actionable solutions
– Maintain internal tracking to monitor Customer Experiences performance and identify trends/opportunities for improvement
– Play an active role in planning & implementing a wide range of new initiatives to enhance customers experiences across offline & online touch points, from physical packaging to service framework to online UX
– Assist with daily operations & other assignments when required

REQUIREMENTS:
– Preferably students majoring in Business, Marketing, and Operations
– A strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus & discipline
– Ability to think quickly on one’s feet and resourcefulness
– Be curious and have the courage to challenge the status quo
– Have a keen interest in translating business inputs & customer feedback into actionable plans for business enhancements & value-added services
– A love for flowers, gifting, and making people happy!
– No prior experience in floristry & gifting necessary
– Comfortable working independently, and as part of a (very small!) team
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

INTERNSHIP PERIOD:
– At least 3 months, preferably from end November 2020 – end Feb 2021
– Ability to commit to at least 6-month internship period is a plus
– Must be able to work during the Chinese New Year & Valentine’s Day period (11 Feb – 14 Feb 2021)
