Job Description

Hakko Products Pte Ltd partners with leading manufacturers to deliver high-quality manufacturing equipment and solutions to our customers in Southeast Asia and beyond. We offer a wide range of products such as soldering/desoldering tools, laser & electronic equipment, fastening tools, as well as cleaning & coating products. As an ISO 9001 certified company, Hakko Products commits to deliver high quality products, premium after-sales maintenance services, and detailed technical training to optimise the performance of your production line.

Hakko Products is looking for an outgoing, resourceful and passionate Sales Engineer. You will be driving the sales efforts in Singapore. This position requires initiative, independence, ability to learn quickly, ability to manage relationships effectively, and superb communication and negotiation skills. This is an ideal position for an individual who loves challenges and is result-oriented. You’ll be Hakko’s driving force to boost our sales in Singapore. 

In this position, you will need to:

  • Implement and achieve sales target by developing and directing effective sales channels 
  • Develop and manage local market, and execute new marketing initiatives to increase market share 
  • Build quality relationship with customers and managers 
  • Keep up with changes in the market and industry and the changes in customers' needs 
  • Learn the company's products to provide product demonstrations and maintenance services 
  • Project and application management for machine sales 
  • Develop sales for new product 

Desired skills and requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering/Sciences or equivalent  
  • Min 2-3 Year(s) of relevant experience in equipment and/or solution sales in manufacturing environment 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications 
  • Having CAD, PLC, JAVA, C++ knowledge is an advantage
  • Disciplined, independent and result-oriented 
  • Possess valid driving license and own vehicle
