About the role
We are looking for a full-time intern in the Singapore Asset Management business to work on various business and fund operations projects. The role works closely with our Operations Executive and offers an opportunity to gain exposure to operations activities in an asset manager.
Role and Responsibility
- Assist in bank and brokers account opening and onboarding and other related matters
- Assist in KYC process for onboarding of service providers and customers
- Assist Operations Executive in cash and positions monitoring
- Assist in ensuring fund and operational compliance
- Assist in changes to existing fund set ups and new fund launches
- Assist in ad hoc projects whenever required
Requirement
- Working towards a degree or diploma in finance, accounting, business or other relevant disciplines
- Keen interest in and some knowledge of equities trading and asset management
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese a plus as documentation to/from HQ are in Chinese
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Programming skills in Python or PostgreSQL a plus
