GSPL – Operations Assistant

We are a port logistics services provider specialising in the handling of out-of-gauge containers and un-containerised cargoes in Singapore. We operate in three main business segments, namely Land Transportation Services, Stevedoring Services and Ship Husbandry Services, in the terminals managed by the Port of Singapore Authority. 

Requirements

• Min 1 year of working experience as a Traffic Controller

• Knowledge of using Portnet and JPonline

• Reasonable knowledge of Singapore roads, yard & port operations

• Computer literate

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule drivers' daily jobs (import, export, return and collection)

• Update Manager with daily drivers' attendance and deployment

• Coordinate closely with drivers and to ensure smooth and efficient transportation

• Plan and assign the routes for OOG deliveries such as police escort

• Liaise closely with customers on delivery fulfilment

• Check and verify drivers' trip claims

• Updating of all job orders on the system

• Monitor the maintenance of equipment / ROV Inspections / Vehicles
