About The Job
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, SEO-focused intern for the winter (and potentially longer) who is driven to build a career in the realm of digital marketing consulting.

Job Scope

  • Own and manage client relationships with a primary focus on SEO strategy and execution, including scoping of requirements, client communications, and proposed SEO strategies.
  • Propose, write, and implement SEO strategies for clients' websites, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content development for organic search.
  • Full development of SEO content in line with best practices, brand guidelines, and creative standards, leveraging SEO tools and technology.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and tracking of SEO performance to optimize client websites for search engine visibility.
  • User Interface/User Experience - collaborate with in-house and external experts to fulfill client SEO requirements and project necessities.
  • Project management: create, export, and send weekly SEO reports, providing insights and recommendations for clients, and consulting them on SEO improvements.
  • Manage various SEO tools and platforms, including Google Ads, for campaign optimization and keyword tracking.
  • Identify and suggest potential SEO partnerships for client projects and for the agency's growth.
  • Work on in-house venture studio brands, including e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands in home and lifestyle.

 

Requirements

  • Your major does not matter, but if you are pursuing or graduated from a degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications, this role may suit your curriculum.
  • You have a strong interest and understanding of SEO, e-commerce, retail, and D2C marketing, and aspire to build a career in this space.
  • You possess exceptional attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset, with a keen eye for SEO optimization opportunities.
  • You are an 'over-communicator,' ensuring clarity and precision in all SEO-related tasks.
  • You have a natural flair for SEO strategy, keyword research, and campaign optimization, backed by a data-driven approach to SEO.
  • You should have managed SEO-focused tasks before, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and SEO tracking.
  • While being SEO-focused, you still have marketing knowledge and can propose SEO strategies aligned with broader marketing objectives.
  • You excel in SEO tools and platforms, including Google Ads, keyword research tools, and SEO analytics.
  • You thrive under pressure and demonstrate resilience, ideally with prior experience in a similar role, showcasing your ability to handle multiple SEO tasks effectively.
  • Technical skills include: Google Ads, SEO analytics tools, keyword research tools, and SEO optimization tools.
  • You do not crumble under stress. To show this, prior experience in a similar role might be telltale, and would be even better if you have anecdotal proof that you are an Olympic wearer of many hats.
