Job Description

Job Summary:

The Cleaning Operations Manager leads and oversees cleaning operations across multiple sites, ensuring high service standards and efficient manpower deployment. The role also ensures compliance with regulatory and client requirements while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and coach cleaning staff, ensuring proper scheduling and ongoing performance development.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, conduct inspections, and maintain high service standards across sites.
  • Serve as the main client contact, resolve concerns, and oversee contractual obligations.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies, equipment, and operational budgets to optimize resources and control costs.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, providing staff with training and PPE.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, introduce new methods, and prepare regular operational reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Environmental Services or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in cleaning operations.
  • Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work a 5.5-day week, including weekends as required for operational needs.
  • Able to start on short notice or immediately.
