Who we are

We are a green business which leverages on behavioural insights to reduce excessive waste, educate and advocate for lower environment footprint at events and functions. This is done through our cleanups, learning journeys, workshops and event activations with corporates, community groups and schools. In doing so, we create a normative shift in the way we create and deal with waste in Singapore.

Job Description

As an Operations and Research intern, your primary role will include

  • Put ideas into actions by implementing new ideas through trials and project
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a small team by setting up processes and procedures for the company
  • Undertake research on the green landscape in Singapore, and may include various sectors such as environmental studies, behavioural science or design

In addition as an intern of a green startup, you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks including:

  • Facilitate cleanups, workshops, and other activities for clients (i.e. both corporates and schools);
  • Prepare for and attend meetings with stakeholders in the public, private and people sectors;
  • Develop expertise in sustainability practices and behavioural science; and
  • Support any other related and ad hoc marketing projects/events.

You will also be required to carry out the following:

  • Help out in the implementation and execution of ongoing events, including but not limited to cleanups, workshops, learning journeys and events, with varying roles such as taking charge of logistics, equipment or timelines;
  • Facilitate learning journeys or workshops to a wide range of audience from pre-schoolers to corporates.

Minimum Requirements

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and take initiative to work out things yourself;
  • You are willing to take up the challenge and hustle along;
  • You take pride in your work with a can-do spirit!
  • You don't mind working in both indoors and outdoors;
  • You may have to work on certain weekends to participate in the events that are being held; and
  • You are also expected to be responsible for your own learning process and development.

Desirable

  • Demonstrate interest in areas of operations, logistics, sustainability or behavioural insights;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • You want to learn the ropes of starting a business or initiative of your own
