Job Description


We need interns for Quantity Surveying with good energy and pleasant learning attitude  We will provide training and guide you on possible career within our company or in the industry. People with engineering or QS modules would be preferred.


Job Scope

You will learn how to :

  • Actively source for new tender opportunities via different platforms
  • Establish client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies
  • Attend  onsite  and  consultants’  meetings  and  liaise  with  clients,  architects  and  associate consultants in the administration of projects
  • Review specifications and drawings to determine scope of work, costing structures, contractual requirements, as well as review and incorporate reliable/established vendor list
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate project costs
  • Source for sub-contractors/suppliers and negotiate for competitive prices
  • Allocate work to subcontractors
  • Develop the estimates and provide support in obtaining materials and subcontract pricing in conjunction with the project team requirements
  • Have good understanding and interpretation of Conditions of Contract
  • Ensure that all contractual notices are issued in accordance with the conditions of contract
  • Review and interpret Contract Documents with recommendation for contractual dispute
  • Administration of Extension of Time claim
  • Source, negotiate and procure trade packages in compliance with requirement and time schedule including drafting of Subcontract Document
  • Ensure that procurement functions are carried out in a highly ethical manner and all decisions are made on objective and defendable grounds
  • Initiate and lead in contractual and Variation management and documentation
  • Setting up and updating of projects budget on monthly basis
  • Monitor and manage progress claim submission, payment response and finalise project account
  • Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports


Job Requirement

At least Diploma in Construction related discipline or equivalent

Able to use MS Words and MS Excel

Strong communication, negotiation, delegation and planning skills

Innovative and self-motivated


Working hours

8.30 am to 5.30 pm
