Job Description

Carbon Credits

  • Research on global voluntary carbon market. E.g., guidelines and frameworks from key players in the carbon market ecosystem and carbon credit project methodologies.
  • Research on the Singapore compliance market, including the Carbon Pricing Act and NDCs from eligible countries.
  • Assist with sourcing carbon credits from project developers, traders, and brokers, globally.
  • Assist with market research from the demand side, including corporate’s climate targets and industry-led commitments.
  • Assist with price analysis.
  • Help develop the market in Latin America.

Skills

  • Basic understanding of climate change discussions, climate targets, and carbon credits markets
  • Good written and spoken communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Analytical skills preferred
  • Intermediary Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
