REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pursuing studies in Management, Retail, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, Hospitality, or any field that involves people interaction and customer services.
- Strong interest in customer service, retail operations, and people interaction.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive, customer-friendly attitude.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods during store operations.
- Able to work in shifts, including weekends or public holidays (subject to store scheduling).
- Responsible, punctual, and a good team player.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sales & Store Support:
- Assist the team in driving store sales through daily operational activities.
- Support promotional efforts by highlighting featured items and sharing basic product information with customers.
2. Store Operations & Merchandising:
- Assist with planogram updates, shelf arrangement, and price adjustments.
- Replenish products and ensure shelves are neat, well-faced, and attractive.
- Help set up weekly and monthly promotional displays.
3. Cashiering:
- Support cashiering duties under supervision.
- Learn basic cash-handling procedures and standard checkout service flow.
4. Stock Management Assistance:
- Check product conditions, including packaging and expiry dates, before display.
- Assist with routine stock counts and help maintain accurate stock levels.
5. Housekeeping & Store Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and storeroom.
- Ensure a safe, tidy, and customer-friendly store environment.
6. Customer Service:
- Greet customers and assist with simple enquiries.
- Observe and learn how to assess customer needs and provide friendly, professional service.
7. Other Duties:
- Support the store team with additional tasks or learning opportunities assigned by Store Management.
