GINLEE Studio – Senior Merchandiser

BUYING / RETAIL ANALYSIS
As retailer, our retail climate is constant evolving. We would require the candidate to have ability to put together all the necessary report in order to make quicker and better judgment.

- Analysis of sell through rates, for styles, sizes, colour etc.
- Make reports and analysis of the sales to inform design and buying teams
- Make suggestion on potential gaps.
- Compiling data for the high pick up rate vs slow pick up rate
- Create a seamless flow of good quality supply to demand, and on time.
- Planning stock replenishment for the stores- Familiar with OTB, collection planning.
- Booking in production onto system

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
- Planning and execution of work-in-progress to completion with local and overseas workshops and factory
- Liaise with factories and suppliers on specifications, construction and production progress.
- Process and follow up on all bulk orders, ad-hoc orders and special need orders.
- Negotiate for best prices with factories and meeting ETD and ETA deadlines.
- Track and ensure quality control and timely deliveries for all orders.
- Work out the consumption and fabric orders for production house.
- Using system to log Bill of material, finalised item cost.
- Ability and flexibility with working with workshop, including local workshop

Qualifications

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience (Senior) in fashion merchandising, knowledge in garment
- Strong co-ordination while multi-tasking to meet deadlines
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skill
- Communicate with factories in both written and spoken Mandarin
- Love of design and fashion is a plus!
