Job Description – Finance Intern

Reporting To: Manager, Finance

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance, accounting, and financial analysis in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process by gathering and preparing data.
  • Perform data entry, reconciliation of financial transactions, and verification of financial statements.
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare reports and presentations for internal use.
  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable, expense tracking, and invoice processing.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the finance team.

 

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, English at work proficiency level (written and verbal)
  • Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Display high level of professionalism and possess high level of integrity
  • Able to excel in a multi-cultural environment
