Galen Growth Asia – Venture Analyst Intern – China Market

Responsibilities

We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit, analytical, very autonomous and proactive attitude who wants to gain valuable experience and exposure to rapidly scaling HealthTech startup scene in Singapore.

The successful candidate will support the team with market research, admin support and ecosystem mapping along with bridging with China.

In this role, the candidate will build a strong knowledge of all the stakeholders in HealthTech in Asia, especially with regards to the start-up scene.

Ideal candidate:

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in Chinese and English. Chinese is mandatory for this role.

Capable of making phone calls, ask questions and have fluent conversation.

Curious and analytical mind that can make use of data to segment categories and generate insights.

Attention to detail with swift execution.

Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends.

Distinctive problem solving skills and good business judgment.

Capable of translating analysis results.

Having a strong interest in new technologies and digital health related topics will be a plus.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Must be self-motivated and demonstrate strong initiative.

Duties included but not limited:

Conduct data analysis & research.

Ecosystem mapping.

Reports and presentations.

Ad-hoc: Assist/Support on ad-hoc projects. 

The position will be based in Singapore, the location is the CBD.

You MUST have a valid work permit/student visa to work in Singapore.
