FrieslandCampina – Intern at Category Procurement Team

FrieslandCampina is one of the world’s five largest dairy companies. FrieslandCampina supplies consumer products such as dairy-based beverages, infant & toddler nutrition, cheese and desserts in many European countries and in Asia and Africa. Products such as cream and butter are also supplied to professional customers including bakeries and food-service companies. FrieslandCampina also produces ingredients and half-finished products for manufacturers of infant & toddler nutrition, the food industry and the pharmaceutical sector around the world.

Intern will be attached to the Category Procurement Team to learn and provide support for procurement of plastic packaging and paperbased packaging.  

Duration: August to December 2019

Plastic Packaging

• PROPS status follow up with OPCOs
• Completing regional/local supplier capabilities vs matching FC requirement portfolio.
• Assisting to complete the data for menu book.
• Initial price requests to suppliers for new projects / feasibility study…

Paperbased packaging

• PROPS update: Check the status of charters with MBP, update charter ppt file for monthly VE meeting, Update PROPS timely
• Market scan and summary for small size suppliers available in the market for packaging, filling machines, cap /closure..
• SAP price request and system update via ProcurementMasterdata
• Contract management: Final version of contract clean up and send for signatory, and upload to ORCA
• Basware invoice validation and request for approval
• CSR – track and follow up with suppliers to submit CSR data for paperboard
