Scientific/Medical Content Writer (part-time)
Our client organizes and facilitates virtual & hybrid events fully customized for clients from the medical & scientific industries.
She is looking for a Scientific/Medical Content Writer to join the editorial team.
The Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and creating content for our customers.
Ultimately, you’ll be part of the creative team and deliver quality writing pieces that meet briefs’ requirements.
Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, scientific publications, and studies)
- Write clear content as pre-story boards prior to assets’ design and production; e.g., e-detailers, videos, infographics, approve emails, KOL interviews, case studies, social media posts for digital campaigns, etc.
- Proofread and edit content before publication
- Crosscheck scientific/medical claims and edit literature style
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate content
- Ensure all-around consistency (style and tone-of-voice)
Requirements
- BSc in Life Science with an insight in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field
- Proven work experience as a Scientific/Medical Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles or content creation
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with scientific publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
- Ability to meet deadlines
