Business Developer / Sales lead (IT/Digital solutions)


Our client is a full-service agency covering the entire digital production chain. Our client provides consulting and technology services to help clients define and implement their omni-channel strategy. The company, which is independent, is recognized as a leading digital transformation company and has presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Canada and France.


Our client is looking for a Business Developer/Sales lead role based in Singapore, with a previous IT / Digital sales experience (e.g consulting services, digital transformation projects, omni-channel strategies, e-Commerce, product/customer Data ...), with a sales development mindset and proven experience within the Singaporean market.

Job Description

As a hunter, the business developer will primarily focus on the following areas:

  • Generate leads and new business opportunities
  • Qualify leads, coordinate pre-sales effort, timely follow-up
  • Draft of proposals & Scope of Work (SOW) with the support of experts
  • Support whole Request For Information / Request For Proposal process
  • Support to deal negotiation & closure
  • Keep detailed reporting updated in the CRM

 

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for :

  • Monitor customer satisfaction, anticipate customer needs, sustain a trusted relationship
  • Grow and extend our services portfolio with existing customers
  • Nurture and manage relationships with the Singapore Digital ecosystem (vendors, partners…)

 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience in IT/ digital solutions and services
  • Mandatory : knowledge of Singaporean market (ecosystem, industries, companies, ...) and IT/ Digital ecosystem (competitors, software vendors, …), South East Asia market knowledge is a plus.
  • Eloquence in English (both when speaking and writing), conviction and persuasion
  • Speaking Mandarin is a plus to liaise with customers
  • Outstanding sales & pitching skills
  • Result-oriented with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Track-record of over-achieving quota and sales metrics
  • Well organized and efficient with a self-starter attitude
  • Experience in B2B lead generation
  • Previous experience in posting consultants and experts within customers is advantageous.
