FitNut Loft is a boutique fitness, pilates and nutrition coaching studio. Launched in March 2017, clients are  mostly women in the 40-55 year age bracket. They come here because they know they need to do some fitness, but are uncomfortable in a gym or bootcamp setting, don’t know what to do, and want a safe, non judgemental space to be coached. This is a results driven studio. 

Clients are trained in the pilates method, with weight training and nutrition coaching.

Admin Assistant Internship At Exciting Pilates & Fitness Studio


FitNut Loft is a boutique fitness, pilates and nutrition coaching studio. I started it in March 2017, since then I’ve grown from 2 clients to 40+. These clients are  mostly women in the 40-55 year age bracket. They come here because they know they need to do some fitness, but are uncomfortable in a gym or bootcamp setting, don’t know what to do, and want a safe, non judgemental space to be coached. This is a results driven studio. 

My studio is located at 2 Pandan Valley, #01-213. Right in the Pandan Valley condo, which is on Ulu Pandan Road between Holland Village and Clementi. 


YOUR MISSION

To provide administrative work in helping to organise FitNut Loft, with a positive cheerful attitude and a can-do approach to all work. Important to help keep Director sane!


Day-to-day jobs can include : 

  1. Office organisation (paperwork, filing, photocopying, tidying).
  2. Taking phone calls whilst in the office. 
  3. To ensure the studio is kitted out with everything we need to service clients, clients should feel an atmosphere of zen. 
  4. To file and organise all receipts by end of month into Xero
  5. Create cool and engaging social media posters using software like Canva.
  6. Make the clients feel important and loved with the little touches and cards we send out.
  7. Pitching ideas that align with our Core, Mission and Values - Speak up as I love to hear ideas.

REQUIRED SKILLS 

  • Attention to Detial : If you noticed I misspelled the word "detail" then that's exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for
  • Pages or Word. You must be very comfortable using either of these softwares (Pages is preferable).
  • Numbers or Excel: You must have basic spreadsheet skills. We don’t do anything advanced with this software, just some simple spreadsheets, but you must be comfortable doing what I need you to do. (Numbers is preferable)
  • Good phone personality/etiquette: You will be talking with my customers, who are VERY important to me, and prospective customers, who are also important. You must be comfortable conversing on the phone, in person, and through email. You must know how to conduct yourself professionally, take clear messages and deliver clear instructions to the prospect or client. I’ll teach you everything you need to say and do, but I can’t teach you manners and professionalism.
  • Email: A great deal of your work will be via email. You need to be very comfortable and proficient with email.
  • Thoughtfulness and organization: I need you to be able to think for yourself and be organized. I am very serious about this one. I do not want a robot, I want someone who learns and grows with me.
  • Social Media : I’ll need help with scheduling social media posts. I will write the content but I’ll need your help with the cosmetics. You should be very comfortable using Facebook and Instagram. 



BONUS SKILLS

If you have these additional skills, your resume will go right to the top of the stack (but if you don’t have these skills, you should still apply because they are not mandatory).

  • Canva : A lot of my promotions and cards are done using the Canva Layout. If you have experience with this, that will be great, although not a must. I think you should be able to figure this out quickly.
  • Experience in book keeping (using Xero)
