The successful candidate will join the Singapore team working with teams in Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo across the wider business, and should be available for a minimum of two months. The environment at Finsbury is dynamic, and there will be opportunities for career development through involvement in a wide variety of projects and clients.
Typical duties will involve:
- News monitoring & press summaries
- Research and analysis for current clients and / or new business opportunities
- Identifying relevant topics / themes and editorial opportunities for clients
- Content generation – e.g. develop press pitches / angles, commentaries / bylines, speeches
- Media – e.g. handle media queries, build relations
- Assist with the preparation of communications materials – e.g. briefing notes / presentations, press kits, media lists
- Provide general logistical support for the team
Necessary attributes:
- Strong academic record with exemplary written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrable interest and understanding of business environment and current affairs
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to multi-task and provide quality work under time pressure
- Responsible and takes ownership in tasks, hard-working, independent
- Trusted to work with confidential information
- Continually seeks to broaden knowledge; looks to share insights / ideas and value-add to the team and clients
- Preferably with 1 year of PR agency / in-house experience
- Financial and / or digital literacy, and knowledge of the financial services industry would be advantageous
