Company Profile

Festive Folks is an online platform that allows users to create personalized character illustrations from a library of elements. We specialize in framed illustrations and custom invitations that are fun and light-hearted!

How it works: Users will pick a background and create individual characters based on a catalog of hand-drawn elements (hair, outfits, etc.). These will then be printed & framed before being sent out.

We are currently under development and do not have a website.


Job Description

What you'll be doing:

  • Detailing, developing and colouring final illustrations for print based off sketches by our creative director
  • Creating a library of elements (hair, outfits, etc.) based off input and sketches by our creative director
  • Working with some fun (and funny) people

What you bring to the table:

  • Fluent with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Adept at using a Wacom or other tablet equivalent (a Wacom can be provided for use if you do not have one)
  • Good analog drawing skills (cute cartoons appreciated over realism)
  • Ability to accept criticism & make edits
  • A love for snacks & making people happy

Timeframe & remuneration: 

  • We have ~30-50 illustrations that need to be detailed and completed
  • We are hoping to have them done between September to November
  • We are open to discussing payment per illustration depending on skill level

**This is a project-based position with the potential of developing into a full-time position!**
