Fast Flow Group – Regional Accountant – Asean

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager, the Regional Accountant – ASEAN is responsible for managing all aspects of the Financial Accounts, Management/Project Accounting, and Compliance to SOPs and provides Management with timely and accurate Financial reporting for the CoGri Asia Ltd – ASEAN group of Companies (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand).
1. Financial Accounting
• Manage full set of Financial Statements of Accounts for ASEAN group of Companies.
• Manage & align all structural accounting processes i.e. Chart of Accounts.
• Monthly control of Intercompany Transactions & Reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Group Accountant on companies funding requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of the Group Accounting SOP.
2. Project/Management Accounting
• WIP compilation analysis & Revenue recognition justifications.
• Prepare monthly Project Profit & Loss Statements
• Control & Track Equipment, machinery & assets movements – Quarterly Review.
• Control & monitor inventory of materials, spare parts & consumables.
3. Reporting and Compliance
• Timely preparation of complete financial statements for Management review.
• Timely support to Operations of key management accounting information.
• Adherence to internal controls & highlight any deviations to the management
4. Any Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
• Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy/ ACCA/ CIMA/equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, with 2 – 3 years experience in the Construction industry preferred.
• Familiar with laws, regulations, and tax compliance of ASEAN countries.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to achieve goals & targets.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines & complex issues in a controlled & effective manner.
• Able to lead a team of accounting staff in proximity & in remote locations.
• Possess sound accounting & bookkeeping knowledge, terminology & practices in particular as applied to the Construction industry to manage finance functions more effectively.
• Able to travel regionally when required.
