Job Description

Far Eastern Travel Safety Pte Ltd, trading as Taxi Baby Co. aims to make travelling with children both safe and convenient, because we believe parents shouldn’t have to compromise on either. Taxi Baby Co. works with private enterprise, government departments and a range of educational institutions to raise safety standards and affordability of travel solutions across South East Asia.

This role is a full time position based in Bukit Merah. The two primary duties are:

  1. Customer service (80%)
  2. Order fulfilment (20%)


Customer service duties:

  1. Respond to or appropriately delegate customer enquiries (email, phone, Whatsapp, in-person and Facebook); this will require a lot of work to get up to speed on our products and services
  2. Assist customers to troubleshoot problems with orders (payment, delivery, warranty)
  3. Assist customers to make in-store purchases
  4. Liaise with existing wholesale customers
  5. Assist at pop-up stores and events (sometimes on the weekend)
  6. Follow up wholesale customers with overdue invoices


Order fulfilment duties:

  1. Process daily orders online (using web interfaces in Shopify, Lazada, Qoo10, Redmart, and TradeGecko)
  2. Pick and pack daily orders
  3. Arrange courier pick-ups for deliveries


Skills, work experience and qualifications:

We will teach you all the processes and programs required to do this job. You don’t need formal qualifications or relevant work experience. You do need:

  1. Attention to detail, with minimal mistakes when completing repetitive tasks.
  2. Very high computer literacy; 80% of your daily tasks will be completed sitting in front of a computer.
  3. A natural affinity toward repetitive, process-driven tasks.  
  4. Good phone manner; being comfortable and easily understood when talking to customers (with both local and foreign accents) on the phone in English.
  5. Very good written English.
  6. Excellent task follow-through; when you’re given a task, make sure it gets done without being reminded, or update your manager on the status if it is taking longer than expected.
  7. Enthusiasm for working in a small, fun, dynamic team.


Other important details:

  1. Work hours are 9:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday. You are also required to answer phone calls and Whatsapp messages from 8am to 9pm 7 days a week (we will give you a work handphone for this).
  2. We cannot issue work permits or employment passes. Please only apply if you have rights to work in Singapore. DP holders are very welcome to apply (we can issue LOCs).
