Job Description

You will lead a team of executives and work closely with business partners to develop and maintain reports/dashboards, to support the organization’s business planning and decision-making using Fairprice internal data, including but not limited to: transaction and members data.

You will be responsible for the monthly tracking and review of select product classes, and is required to collaborate closely with team mates in charge of external data from third party partners or agencies, in order to holistically review the categories and provide actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to analyse select product classes in order to conduct analysis or deep dive with a focus on product and place (distribution) based on customer need state and category role/strategy.
  • Work hand in hand with the Manager (External Performance) to synthesize internal and external data, to uncover areas of opportunity and improvement
  • Build strong relationship with stakeholders to stay abreast of current developments of select product classes
  • Develop and manage timely, comprehensive, and accurate reporting systems to support business planning
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports, dashboards, and presentations to the management team
  • Improve on existing processes to increase efficiency
  • Keep track of the progress of ongoing initiatives and ensure that stakeholders are informed
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercise

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years in category management, product marketing/sales or business planning/intelligence/analytics
  • A strong track record of working with multiple stakeholders to define, execute, and track strategic initiatives
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive influence and stakeholder buy-in

Relevant Knowledge and Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable data and presentation
  • Working experience in retail industry is a plus, preferably with experience in global consumer packaged goods
  • Financial, modelling and data analytics skill with strong business acumen are good to have
  • Experience with customer/loyalty data is a plus
  • Experience using Nielsen Scantrack or Homescan is a plus
