Expressions Pte Ltd – Graphic Design Internship

Looking for an opportunity to learn and be involved in real life web design projects during your school term? We’re looking for creative, motivated and result-oriented designers who can look at projects from end users’ perspectives.

The Graphic Design Intern is a visual artist who, under the guidance of our in-house creative team, will be responsible for the look and feel of online campaigns. He or she will make advertising ideas stand out to the end user. On a day-to-day basis, the Graphic Design Intern is expected to design modern, clean and engaging interfaces, and also work together with our campaign team to produce successful tactical campaigns.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and possesses a good understanding of how elements of art and typography can be visually laid out and presented to create the best user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize, design and implement mobile-responsive campaign landing pages, as well as advertising materials such as email newsletters and web banners.
• Learn and implement the applications of user-centered philosophies and interactive design practices.
• Be an end-user advocate, driving user needs and goals into both creative and pragmatic design solutions.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly execute design work with a high standard of quality within time and technical constraints.

Requirements:

• Possess a web-based portfolio (please include the URL link)
• Possess a strong visual design/layout/typography skill set
• Have experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Able to work with HTML/CSS
• Familiar with mobile-responsive web design and framework
• Knowledge of Javascript/jQuery is a bonus
• Able to commit for at least 3-4 months with us, working 3-5 days each week
