Explorer Academy – Marketing & Business Development Intern

Explorer Academy is an education centre that specialises in science from primary to secondary level. We aim to make science lessons engaging through experiments and hands-on activities where students can see the effects of science. 

About our internship:  

Explorer Academy’s internship aims to provide an experience that is enriching, as well as practical in real-world situations. We provide first-hand & real-world experience to allow interns to be work-force ready. Full-time job positions are offered to interns who have excelled in their internship. 

What to expect: 

• Be exposed to application & conceptualisation of business strategies from the perspective of market leaders in the tuition industry 
• Sharpen your content creation visual designing skills.

• Develop and execute Instagram / Tiktok marketing strategies that align with the company's overall marketing goals.
• Create and manage Instagram / Tiktok content calendars.
• Design Instagram / TikTok content and measure the results of marketing initiatives.
• Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
• Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions.
• Analyze Instagram / TikTok analytics to measure the effectiveness of different campaign and make recommendations for improvement. 
• Stay up-to-date on Instagram / Tiktok features, best practices, and trends. 

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field 
• Good Command of Both Written & Verbal English 
• Graphic designing knowledge and skills (Photoshop/ Illustrator) preferred
• Basic photography, image and video editing preferred
• Skills with IG/Tik Tok content creation preferred
• Proficient with use of Canva, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
• Friendly, Passionate and Energetic Team Player 
• Organized and Good Administrative Skills 
• Takes ownership and responsibility of tasks given
• Creative problem solver
