Explorer Academy – Graphic Designer (Internship)

We are looking for Graphic Designer and Illustrator interns who are interested in creating innovative science games and activity materials to increase students' engagement and interest in learning.

Gain hands-on experience in aligning your designs with both branding and curriculum goals. This internship will offers a unique opportunity to not only enhance your design skills but also make a real impact on education. Be ready to build a strong portfolio and gain experience in both creative and educational industries.

Responsibilities:

• Design creative infographics, games and other special projects that aligns with the lesson objectives and curriculum.
• Participate in brainstorming and conceptualizing new design ideas to improve lesson materials and games.
• Ensure all designs meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve designs.
• Work with the marketing department to ensure our products align with the company's branding and identity.
• Work with the teaching team to ensure artwork created are aligned with the learning objectives/syllabus.

Requirements: 

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Animation or a related field.
• Able to commit for 3-6 months internship
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of design principles and color theory.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Resourceful, proactive and demonstrates great problem-solving skills
• Flexible and able to manage change and ambiguity well
