Job Description

What to expect: 

As a Customer Management & Marketing Intern at a tuition centre, you’ll support marketing initiatives aimed at engaging current students and parents, improving retention, and encouraging referrals or new sign-ups through positive customer experiences. you will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with parents and students, supporting daily operations, and ensuring excellent service delivery. This internship offers hands-on experience in customer relationship management, communication, and administrative support in the education sector.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Help resolve concerns and provide timely updates regarding class schedules, fees, and progress reports. 
  • Conduct follow-up calls to parents for feedback, payments, and enrollment status. 
  • Prepare and send reminders or newsletters regarding events, holidays, and exams. 
  • Respond to customer service-related queries/requests from customer over various channels (e.g. at the centre front desk, via emails or calls) 
  • Provide recommendations of our suitable academic programme based on student’s academic needs. 
  • Provide customer support and timely responses to customers inquiries, issues and concerns, ensuring a positive experience at all touch points. 
  • Gather and analyse client feedback, identifying areas for improvement and sharing valuable insights with relevant departments to build a better customer intimacy and brand loyalty. 
  • Stay up-to-date on Instagram / Tiktok features, best practices, and trends. 
  • Assist in critical school administration tasks (such as course registrations and changes in class arrangements), front desk and backend operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operation.
  • Assist in planning and running marketing campaigns (email, social media, ads). 
  • Help manage customer loyalty or referral programs 
  • Collect student/parent testimonials and help publish success stories on social media or the centre's website. 
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned 

 

Requirements: 

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Education, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Able to commit for 3-6 months internship 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and customer engagement strategies 
  • Basic photography, image and video editing preferred 
  • Skills with IG/Tik Tok content creation preferred 
  • Proficient with use of Canva, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides 
  • Friendly, Passionate and Energetic Team Player 
  • Organised and have strong attention to details 
  • Creative problem solver 
  • Able to Multi-Task and Takes ownership and responsibility of tasks given

 

Details 

  • Onsite role based in Singapore
  • 4 weekdays & 1 Weekend
  • Weekday: 12-9pm
  • Weekend: 9-6pm
