Founded in 2015, Evye was built on a deceptively simple idea: brands should look right, feel right, and mean something. Not just to the market — but to the people behind them.
We specialise in brand strategy, identity design, and what we like to call emotion craft — the thoughtful blend of clarity, character, and resonance that makes brands stick. We apply real-world skills (writing, design, tech, and the occasional legal nuance) to help founders translate what’s in their heads into something their customers feel with their hearts.
We don’t chase trends or templates. We work with people who give a damn — about what they’re building, and who they’re building it for. Our job? To sharpen their vision, ground their story, and create the kind of brand that works in market and lives in memory.
BD + Sales Intern (Apprentice Track) in the Branding & Design Industry
Location: Singapore-based | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 WFH)
Duration: 3 months, with the option (and intention) to convert to full-time if we both agree it’s a fit
First, Some Honesty
You’re not just applying for an internship.
And we’re not just looking for saikang.
This role is best described as a hands-on apprenticeship—a seat at the table with people who take their work seriously (but not themselves). You’ll work closely with our founder: an introvert, strategist, and (occasional) cat meme connoisseur—to shape how our flagship brand strategy programme, BrandPilot, reaches the businesses that need it most.
If you're looking for a big company name and a 15-step HR pipeline, we might not be it.
If you're looking to do real work, with real people, in a real business — we might be exactly what you’re looking for.
Who We Are
Evye LLP is a boutique brand consultancy based in Singapore.
We work with startups, social enterprises, and purpose-driven companies to help them build brands that perform — visually, verbally, and strategically. We’ve helped corporate brands find their personalities, guided social enterprises toward commercial success, and helped founders stand out without selling out.
We do this with a tight in-house team of brand thinkers, designers, strategists, and content creators. We’re hands-on, values-driven, and just allergic enough to mediocrity to keep us interesting.
The Role (And Why It Matters)
We’re ready to grow — carefully.
Our flagship BrandPilot Workshops (https://evye.co/brandpilot) are gaining traction. Our work is sharp, and our outcomes speak for themselves. But we’re not reaching enough of the people who would benefit from it, simply because… our founder would rather build and solve than sell and schmooze.
That’s where you come in.
This is not a hard-sales role.
This is about building relationships, starting thoughtful conversations, and helping us connect with founders who are at the edge of a branding inflection point — and who would benefit from someone showing up with clarity, empathy, and something better than a generic agency deck.
You’ll be trusted to lead the research, craft the messages, ask the right questions, track conversations, and gradually own parts of our outreach and BD strategy. You’ll get direct access to how we pitch, how we listen, how we problem-solve — and yes, how we win.
You’ll learn more in 3 months here than some people do in 3 years in corporate.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Researching and identifying potential BrandPilot (https://evye.co/brandpilot) clients (startups, SMEs, social businesses);
- Attending networking events and making new connections (along with our founder, and eventually, independently);
- Learning how to craft tailored outreach that opens doors (email, LinkedIn, owl — we’re flexible);
- Supporting and sitting in on calls and meetings with founders and clients;
- Preparing short briefs, proposals, and light follow-ups;
- Managing a simple CRM, and building one if you hate the current one enough;
- Reflecting weekly on what worked, what didn’t, and what we should try next; and
- Thinking — like, properly thinking — about how branding and business development can connect in meaningful ways
Who This Is For
You’re not trying to be loud.
You’re trying to be effective.
You write clearly, think critically, and aren’t afraid of people — even if you’re a little shy, a little weird, or a little quiet. You know how to read a room, read between the lines, and occasionally, read someone for filth (gently).
You care about craft — not just in design or writing, but in how things are said, offered, and delivered. You want mentorship, not micromanagement. And you’re okay being thrown into deep water, as long as someone’s there to show you how to swim.
This role is especially suited for:
- Recent grads (any discipline) who have real curiosity, self-awareness, and grit
- Career switchers from corporate roles who want meaning, challenge, and actual responsibility
- Anyone who sees sales not as manipulation, but as matchmaking
This internship is fully expected to convert into a full-time role after successful completion of internship.
What You'll Get
- A front-row seat to how a boutique consultancy actually works — the good, the stressful, the fascinating
- Direct mentorship from someone who will have your back (and occasionally push your buttons, for your own good)
- A collaborative team that treats you like a peer, not an errand runner
- A clear pathway to a full-time role (if it’s mutually right)
- Flexible, task-based hybrid work (and yes, we respect your evenings and weekends)
- Competitive stipend + milestone bonuses (commissions) if your work leads to confirmed projects
- Lego and Cats. Or at least conversations about them.
Your CV
A cover letter (keep it honest, not “passionate and hardworking”)
Tell us about:
A time you persuaded someone of something that mattered;
Something you failed at and what you took from it;
What you think makes a brand good (not just pretty)
Subject: BD + Sales Intern — [Your Name]
We don’t care where you went to school. We care what you notice. What you ask. And what you’re ready to do next!
