Job Description

Position Objective

The Student Life Intern is responsible for coordinating various aspects of student life at ESSEC. This role is critical in ensuring a vibrant and inclusive campus life experience for students studying on the APAC campus. Reporting to the Head of Department, this role works in close collaboration within andoutside of the Academic Affairs team, creating positive experience for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Student Activities:

  • Organize, implement, coordinate, and support student activities both on and off campus
  • Lead and participate in activities including sports events, cultural festivals, and social events
  • Manage all administrative duties relating to the student life activities, including pre-event communications, and post-event summary

Student Services:

  • Ensure that students have access to the resources they need to successfully complete their academic journey in APAC
  • Coordinate various student services if necessary, such as career services, academic support, mental well-being services, and any areas of assistance that are non-curriculum related but will impact students’ quality of life in Singapore

Student Engagement:

  • Promote student engagement on campus and create a sense of community (e.g. event geared towards integration, cultural events) among the student body

Campus Life:

  • Oversee various aspects of campus life for students, such as dining, transportation, and general access to the campus
