Job Description

Are you a versatile communicator with a pulse on digital trends and a knack for strategic research?

This isn’t your typical "coffee-run" internship—you will be at the intersection of brand strategy, public affairs, and high-level event execution.

As a Communications Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in corporate communications, market intelligence, and project management.

Communications Intern

This isn’t your typical "coffee-run" internship—you will be at the intersection of brand strategy, public affairs, and high-level event execution.

As a Communications Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in corporate communications, market intelligence, and project management.

Communications & Content Support

  • Support the team in monitoring brand awareness and institutional visibility across media and digital platforms.

  • Assist in preparing and coordinating branding and communications initiatives.

  • Support enhancement of ESSEC APAC’s social media presence, including basic content coordination and performance tracking.

  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to inform positioning and outreach strategies.

  • Assist in creating and adapting visual assets and communications materials in line with brand guidelines.

 

Public Affairs & Research Support

  • Conduct background research on industry, policy, and sector developments relevant to institutional positioning.

  • Monitor relevant institutional, governmental, and sector updates.

  • Assist with follow-up tracking and documentation related to partnerships and external engagements.

 

Events & Institutional Initiatives

  • Support planning, coordination, and on-site execution of campus-wide and institutional initiatives.

  • Assist in coordinating photography, videography, and other vendors to ensure alignment with brand and quality standards.

  • Help with post-event documentation, reporting, and follow-up actions.

  • Support administrative and coordination tasks related to CSR and institute-led initiatives.

  • Maintain event trackers, timelines, and coordination sheets to support concurrent workstreams.

 

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Assist in researching and exploring basic digital or AI tools to improve team workflows.

  • Support maintenance of project tracking tools and dashboards for events and initiatives.

  • Help with meeting minutes, action tracking, and general administrative follow-up.

  • Organize and maintain the team’s asset repository (presentations, visuals, templates, documentation).

 

Requirements

1. Comfortable and competent in events management, operations & administrative work and liaising with international students

2. Good with IT, Google suite and MS suite.

3. Attention to details and proactive

4. Proficient in digital and AI tools
