Job Description

You’ll be-in charge of:

  • ensuring our guests are well taken care of and that they all have an outstanding and memorable experience from before the set foot at the restaurant until they leave the restaurant
  • running the daily restaurant operations; set up and preparations before service, ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes presented to the guests
  • greeting guests upon their arrival, engage them in conversation so as to build a strong rapport between themselves and the restaurant
  • managing stocks and inventories
  • attending to any feedback, complaints, and preferences
  • maintaining a good housekeeping regime and report any defects in furniture, fixtures and equipment
  • participating and leading training sessions, briefings and team meetings

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a strong passion for food
  • is a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
  • is excellent on communication and interpersonal skills
  • is experienced working in a similar capacity, fine dining setting
  • is able to multi-task and work in a high volume atmosphere
  • is able to lead others and positively influence employee behaviour

Other Information

The team operates:

  • on a 5 day work week, from Wednesdays to Sundays
  • like a closely knit family so team work and attitude towards the job is key
