Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • In-charge of month end closing, ensuring compliance with both US and local GAAP and internal policies.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and cross-charges
  • Prepare journals, monthly Balance Sheet schedules and Balance Sheet Flux analysis
  • Perform regular Internal control activity document testing - Sarbanes Oxley
  • Prepare local statutory filing (around Mar to Jun period)
  • Liaise with external/internal auditors/internal users etc
  • Develop/enhance internal controls, policies, processes and procedures and ensure that they are properly scoped and enforced and are effective and efficient.
  • Involved in projects/system enhancement and any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

  • Accountancy background
  • Fluent in reading/writing in English. Chinese will be an extra point
  • Highly motivated and competent individual with good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Someone who is positive and a good team player
  • Possess good problem-solving abilities, with lots of initiative and drive, a strong sense of internal control and a keen eye for details and process improvements
  • A strong plus if you have Excel VBA experiences
