Epworth Community Services – Student Care Programme Coordinator (Temporary)

Epworth Community Services is a reputable voluntary welfare organisation that helps at-risk children and youths in their educational, social, emotional and moral development.

We are a registered charity, a full member of the National Council of Social Service and an Institution of Public Character.

Our Student Care Centres provide a caring, conducive and safe environment for children whose parents are unable to look after them during the day because of work commitments. A conducive home-away-from-home also provides opportunities for the students to develop socially, morally, emotionally and intellectually, which allows them to develop holistically and reach their fullest potential. 

Job Description

• Responsible for the children’s well-being and safety at all times
• Assist and guide children with their daily school work.
• Plan and execute programmes and activities for the children.
• Maintain discipline and classroom management while engaging the children in fun developmental activities and learning lessons
• Assist to respond to parents at the centre.

Job requirements

• Minimum GCE O Levels
• Enjoys working with children aged 6-12 years
• Passionate and patient about working with Children to provide an environment of care in an after school care setting
• Team player
• Able to work Monday to Friday (do not need to work on weekends)

Preferred achievements/characteristics

• Prior experience working in a student care centre would be ideal
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Position open to candidates who are looking for temporary employment
