Our Student Care Centres provide a caring, conducive and safe environment for children whose parents are unable to look after them during the day because of work commitments. A conducive home-away-from-home also provides opportunities for the students to develop socially, morally, emotionally and intellectually, which allows them to develop holistically and reach their fullest potential. 

Job Description

Job Scope:

  • Responsible for the children’s well-being and safety at all times
  • Assist and guide the children with their daily school work
  • Plan and conduct character development programmes and activities to support the holistic development of the children
  • Maintain discipline and classroom management while engaging the children in fun developmental activities and learning lessons
  • Responsible for responding to parent queries at the centre.

Technical Competencies:

  • Minimum GCE O Levels
  • Enjoys working with children aged 6-12 years
  • Prior work experience in a student care centre environment preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Core Competencies:

  • Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team setting
  • Able to work in a systematic and organised manner with attention to detail
  • Passionate and patient about working with children to provide an environment of care in an after-school care setting
  • Able to work Monday to Friday (do not need to work on weekends)

Preferred achievements/characteristics:

  • Prior experience working in a student care centre would be ideal
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
