We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individuals to be part to our Emporium Shokuhin family as Kitchen Trainee. This individual will report to the individual Outlet Manager, the successfully shortlisted individual will be responsible for the delivery of Emporium Shokuhin promises to customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure and maintain food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, work stations, utensils such as sauce containers and fridges are well cleaned and organised as per kitchen SOP
- Ensure the quality, quantity and correctness of food items served and displayed are as per Company and Head Chef’s standard recipes
- Be assistant of other kitchen staff when needed
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Working closely and assisting the chefs in the preparation of all food
- Propose presentation on possible ways to improve productivity by end of Internship
Requirements:
- Minimum higher secondary or equivalent
- Have a passion for Japanese Cuisine
- Must be a team player and work well with others
- Highly driven with a positive attitude to learn and improve
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
