We have released numerous blockbusters including the DEATH NOTE movie series, LA LA LAND, WEATHERING WITH YOU and KNIVES OUT. Building upon our creditable track record, we have expanded our film distribution network from Singapore to Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam. We have been the exclusive distributor of Studio Ghibli’s animation classics including MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO, PONYO ON THE CLIFF BY THE SEA and THE WIND RISES for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. Encore Films is currently also one of the top distributors for Japanese and other Asian content in Southeast Asia.
At Encore Films, we are committed to the creation of original and refreshing content that both local and global audiences can relate to and enjoy. After 13 years in movie distribution, we released our first movie production YOUNG & FABULOUS in May 2016. and a second movie, FAT HOPE to be released in 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Video editing and conversion
- Design movie posters, advertisements, graphic and other printed materials including pre-press artwork preparation
- Administer and maintain company website including promotional web content and e-newsletter
- Videography during events
- Social media management
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro is a must
- Knowledge of After Effects, HTML, CSS, DHTML, Javascript, PHP & mySQL is preferred
- Able to multi-task different projects to meet tight deadlines
- Organized, meticulous, creative and have an eye for detail
- Independent with good initiative, communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum Diploma in Graphic/Multimedia/Digital Media or equivalent
- English and Chinese language proficiency (to liaise with associates)
- At least some relevant experience preferred
- Portfolio is required during interview
