Our Story
Emergencies First Aid & Rescue (EFAR) is a private limited company founded by James Teo and Doris Ching in 2002 with the aim of enhancing the medical knowledge and skills of first responders and the public via provision of first aid training. In 2008, it delved into the provision of ambulance services – Although initially it was conceived as a means for enhanced training, the ambulance arm was operationalised to provide MTS and EAS services to the public in 2019.
EFAR is currently recognized by MOH as a EAS and MTS provider and will continue to make inroads on the operational side to gain a greater foothold in the patient conveyance landscape. On the training end, EFAR have been accredited as a training provider by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) for the (a) standard first aid course, (b) child first aid course for infants/childcare providers, (c) BCLS AED (including instructor training courses) and recognised by MOM as an Occupational First Aid training provider.

EFAR (Emergencies First Aid and Rescue Pte Ltd) is a trusted and established provider of Ambulance and First Aid services and we are expanding our frontline medical response team. We're looking for passionate, certified Medics and Paramedics to support our Medical Transport and Emergency Ambulance operations in Singapore.
- MEDIC
Role Overview:
- Serve as crew leader for Medical Transport Services (MTS)
- Respond to emergency dispatches within specified timeframes
- Perform patient assessments and apply appropriate medical treatment to stabilize patient’s condition
- Work alongside the ambulance driver to transport patients safely
- Selected individuals may be sponsored for advanced certification courses
- Additional cash incentives for every trip completed in full compliance.
Requirements:
- Certified EMT, Enrolled Nurse or equivalent
- Bilingual proficiency to support operational needs and diverse case environments
- Strong team player with the ability to operate independently
- Class 3 Driving License is an advantage
- Prior experience as an EMT is highly preferred
Gross Salary: Up to $3500 (Inclusive of Incentive, allowance & Overtime)
- PARAMEDIC
Role Overview:
- Serve as crew leader for Emergency Ambulance Services (EAS) and Medical Transport Services (MTS)
- Respond to emergency dispatches within specified timeframes
- Perform patient assessments and apply appropriate medical treatment to stabilize patient’s condition
- Work alongside the ambulance driver to transport patients safely
- Additional cash incentives for every trip completed in full compliance
- Former SCDF Paramedic experience will be highly preferred
Requirements:
- Certified Paramedic or equivalent
- Bilingual proficiency to support operational needs and diverse case environments
- Strong team player with the ability to operate independently
- Class 3 Driving License is an advantage
Gross Salary: Up to $4,800 (Inclusive of Incentive, allowance & Overtime)
