Elite IB is a private tuition agency dedicated to improving individuals’ performance in the International Baccalaureate. It was founded in the UK by a group of Oxford graduates who have themselves taken the IB. Elite IB provides bespoke one-on-one tuition and mentoring both face-to-face and online, giving support specifically in IB subjects and mentoring for UK university and Oxbridge applications. Elite IB has offices in the UK, Switzerland, and most recently, Singapore, which was incorporated to cater to the growing demand for the IB both in Singapore and Asia.
We believe that one-to-one tuition can be hugely successful and we invest in a system which has been tried and tested to allow for student comfort and confidence. At the core of our approach is a genuine knowledge of the IB programme, and all of our tutors have been interviewed and trained for IB experience knowledge, so students can benefit from first-hand experience of the programme.
As a Client & Operations Manager at Elite IB you will be at the forefront of our business as the first port of call for our clients, helping drive the business and its growth, and ensuring we become a household name for all those studying the IB in Singapore. This will involve a number of tasks which are essential to the daily running of the business, such as assisting with client and tutor relations and communications via email and phone, assisting with marketing and research, and helping our new start up develop and grow into the successful enterprise we are sure it’s going to be.
Most important to the position is getting to know our client and tutor base. Understanding the needs of each student is of utmost importance, helping guide them through one of the most important periods of their lives as they set themselves up for future success and strive to reach the goals they’ve set themselves. Knowing our tutors is of equal importance. What their individual education and professional backgrounds are, as well as the way their individual tutoring styles, is important in ensuring they’re matched with the student who they can get the best out of.
It won’t only be client and operation management you will be involved with, however. Experience with the IB is strongly preferred, but not essential.
