Ecoworks is a fast-growing sustainability startup pioneering smart refill stations to eliminate single-use plastic packaging. We are looking for an enthusiastic and people-oriented Marketing and Community Engagement Intern who is passionate about driving awareness around reuse and refilling. This is a unique ground-up opportunity to help shape sustainable infrastructure and contribute to building a waste-free future.
This role requires regular weekend commitment, particularly on Saturdays. In return, a weekday off will be provided to ensure a balanced work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement
- Run grassroots pop-ups to engage and educate residents on the concept of reusing.
- Interest and guide residents on how to refill detergents at the Ecoworks refill station.
Community Building - Refill Ambassadors
- Build and scale our Refill Ambassador program, including recruiting and training volunteers.
Event Logistics
- Prepare and ensure sufficient stock for pop-ups and other community related events.
Marketing - Social Media
- Create marketing content to compliment pop-up efforts and raise awareness.
Ideal Candidate:
- Pursuing Degree/ Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business or related disciplines. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Hands-on experience in community engagement activities or retail roles.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Physically fit and willing to travel across Singapore regularly.
